About the Blog:
This blog is for YOU- an involved student at San Jose State University that wants to know what's happening around campus this year.
If you want to post events/pictures/videos from your student organization let me know and I'll put them up!
ONCE A WEEK I will be posting events for the upcoming weekend and the following week which will include: Student Organization events (like Campus Crusade's Rootbeer Keggar), campus wide events (like A.S. House's free BBQ day), and local events (like South First Friday's Art Festival and Free Ice Cream Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's). Now that the site has gone public, I will do my best to keep it updated!
THROUGHOUT THE MONTH I will also be posting important dates and deadlines for Student Involvement/ campus programs and “Did You Know” articles about the many, and sometimes hidden, resources that SJSU has to offer--especially those useful for student organizations. I will also be posting intersting articles on Leadership, Getting Involved, and other encouraging things to help you get the most out of this year at SJSU and the rest of your life!
GET YOUR EVENTS POSTED ON THIS SITE! Email me at Lindsey.Huffman@sjsu.edu with your organization's upcoming events (or anything else you'd like to share)! Include a general description, the date, time, location, and who is sponsoring the event. Please send me the information by 5:00pm Monday for things you would like to have posted that Wednesday. You could also send me a calendar of your upcoming events for the semester and I will make sure to include everything in my weekly update!
